Value added tax
Medical treatment is exempt from value added tax under Section 4 no. 14 (a) of the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz). Services without a medical indication – in particular aesthetic treatments and cosmetic services – are subject to VAT, which is shown separately on the invoice.

Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Section 36 of the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters).
