With statutory health insurance
Skin cancer screening from the age of 35 (every two years), diagnostic work-up and all medically necessary treatments are billed directly to your health insurer. This includes, among other things, the treatment of acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema, the removal of suspicious or inflamed skin lesions, and the surgical treatment of skin tumours.
Privately insured and Beihilfe
Billing follows the German scale of medical fees (GOÄ), as a rule at the 2.3-fold rate, and higher where the work involved is particularly demanding. You receive appointments at short notice, annual screening and extended diagnostic procedures. Medically indicated treatments – such as skin cancer screening, laser treatment of warts and nail fungus, KTP laser treatment for rosacea or botulinum toxin treatment for hyperhidrosis – are usually reimbursed by private health insurers; please clarify the scope with your insurer in advance.

VAT
Medical treatments are exempt from VAT under Section 4 No. 14 of the German VAT Act (UStG). Services without a medical indication – such as line and wrinkle treatments, cosmetic hair removal or the removal of harmless but bothersome skin lesions – are subject to the standard rate of 19 %. All amounts stated on this page are final prices: where a service is subject to VAT, the VAT is already included. Whether there is a medical indication in your case is something we clarify during the consultation.

- The detailed consultation, including medical explanation of the procedure, is billed at €50 according to GOÄ
- The follow-up check after botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid treatments is included in the treatment fee
- Payment by debit card, credit card or bank transfer
